4Totally bummed. We had tickets to see them at the Fillmore in Denver on Monday. I was totally pumped to see them in a relatively small venue. Just listened to a few of their albums last night while working on stuff. RIP

5NYT reporting he was found with a 'strap' around his neck. Sounds like he might have pulled a Carradine/Hutchence. What an absolutely moronic way to die. RIP Chris, thanks for the many happy memories.
