Man, just legalize drugs and be done with it. Then approach it as a health issue.
But that might hurt the drug trade and reduce crime...come on, that can't make sense!

He's at it again:
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Tom Sizemore surrendered Tuesday to face a hearing on whether he violated probation with his recent arrest for drug possession.

Superior Court Judge Cynthia Rayvis later ordered the “Saving Private Ryan” actor held without bail pending a June 19 hearing, said Jane Robison, a spokeswoman for the district attorney’s office.

Sizemore, 45, had arrived at a county courthouse in a convertible and was greeted by reporters. When asked how he was doing, he replied: “I’m OK.”

Sizemore was arrested last month at a Bakersfield hotel. Authorities said they found methamphetamines in his car.

He was released but a Los Angeles judge later issued a warrant for his arrest for violating probation in another methamphetamine case. If convicted, he could be forced to serve out a 16-month prison sentence.

In the Bakersfield case, Sizemore has pleaded not guilty to seven drug-related charges, including transportation and possession of methamphetamines, possession of prescription drugs without the proper prescription and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

He faces up to six years in prison if convicted.

man, he might as well just show up in court in boxers, go blow a load on the judge's face, then shove the gavel up the bailif's ass. it would at least be a good last performance.

Two weeks later, here we are:
Jailed actor Tom Sizemore asks LA judge for “one more chance” at probation
LOS ANGELES (AP) — “Saving Private Ryan” actor Tom Sizemore asked a judge for another chance Tuesday after acknowledging that he violated his parole in a drug case.

“If you would please just give me one more chance for myself,” Sizemore tearfully asked Judge Cynthia Rayvis in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

He asked to be placed back on probation.

“I can guarantee that I will give it everything that’s good about me,” Sizemore said.

The judge scheduled a hearing Monday to decide punishment. However, she suggested that Sizemore, 45, has shown he “cannot successfully sustain or complete” probation.

Prosecutors want him to serve out 16 months in state prison — the sentence imposed after he pleaded no contest to possessing methamphetamines in February 2006. The sentence was suspended and he was given three years of probation.

Sizemore was arrested last month at a Bakersfield hotel. Authorities said they found methamphetamine in his car. He has been in jail without bail since June 5 and has pleaded not guilty to seven drug-related charges, including transportation and possession of methamphetamines, possession of prescription drugs without the proper prescription and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

He faces up to six years in prison if convicted.

Tom Sizemore sentenced to 16 months in prison for violating his probation in a drug case
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Tom Sizemore was sentenced Monday to 16 months in prison for violating his probation in a drug case.

Superior Court Judge Cynthia Rayvis ordered the sentence after authorities said they found methamphetamine in the actor’s car on May 8 in Bakersfield.

Sizemore, 45, was on probation for a previous drug conviction.

He was arrested in Bakersfield for investigation of seven drug-related charges, including methamphetamine possession.

He has been in jail without bail since June 5, when he surrendered on a warrant alleging he had violated his probation.

A little less than before, now. Judge gave him some credit for time served, and now he only has about nine months and will likely serve about 4 1/2 months of that.

Almost two years later, an update:
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles police say they arrested Tom Sizemore on a warrant issued on a court case in Central California.

Officer Norma Eisenman says officers arrested Sizemore and another man after coming across them while responding to an unrelated call early Thursday morning. Sizemore was arrested for an outstanding warrant issued in Bakersfield on a drug case from 2007.

Eisenman says another man who was with Sizemore was arrested on a drug possession charge, but that Sizemore was only booked on the warrant. Jail records show he has been released.

Court records in Bakersfield show that Sizemore’s probation was revoked by a judge in April.

Several of Sizemore’s one-time managers and an attorney said they no longer represent the actor.

My man is slowing down! Or at least getting better at lowering his profile...wonder what that "unrelated call" was that police "came across" him on.

imdb appears to have a little more detail (via TMZ):
The Saving Private Ryan star was taken into custody shortly after midnight on Thursday morning after police were called to investigate a report of domestic violence in Hollywood.

When authorities arrived at the scene, Sizemore was found in the area with a pal and after being quizzed by cops, they discovered there was a $25,000 (£16,600) warrant out for the fallen star's arrest.

According to TMZ.com, a police search found Sizemore and his friend in possession of narcotics - and they were subsequently arrested and booked for the crime.

And here's one we must have missed!
More recently, he was caught up in a police probe amid bizarre allegations he stole pens and cellphones from an L.A. store in March.

I'm not sure which is odder, the fact that someone was stealing pens, or that the police were actually having a probe about it. Office workers all over America must be running scared right now.

Sizemore Meets Fleiss In Celebrity Rehab
1 June 2009 9:10 AM, PDT

Troubled actor Tom Sizemore is heading back to TV rehab in a bid to kick his drug demons - coming face-to-face with the ex-girlfriend he's accused of assaulting, Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss.

The Saving Private Ryan star has struggled with substance abuse problems for several years and was arrested on an outstanding warrant in Hollywood just last Thursday, when he was found to be in possession of narcotics.

But he's set to tackle his problems as a cast member for the new season of VH1 reality series Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew - and his addition to the programme has not gone down well with Fleiss.

A source tells RadarOnline.com, "(Tom) showed up wasted yesterday at the Pasadena Recovery Center and was put in 'lock down' for serious withdrawals.

"Heidi... went straight to her room and didn't comment."

Sizemore was convicted of assaulting Fleiss in 2003.

Hey, maybe we could start having regular updates in this thread again.
Tom Sizemore arrested in alleged domestic violence
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Actor Tom Sizemore has been arrested in Los Angeles for alleged domestic violence.

Police spokesman Richard French says the 47-year-old actor was arrested Wednesday night in the downtown area. French did not have details of the incident.

French said Sizemore remained jailed Thursday morning. His bail was set at $20,000.

Sizemore couldn’t immediately be reached for comment. Representatives for two agencies listed as representing Sizemore said they no longer did so.

Sizemore, who appeared in such movies as “Black Hawk Down” and “Saving Private Ryan,” was convicted in 2003 of domestic violence involving his ex-girlfriend, former “Hollywood Madam” Heidi Fleiss.

He’s also had a string of drug-related arrests in recent years.
