Satan's Little Helper - had never seen this before, found it to be quite amusing. would definitely watch again, and JBB of course made it better.
Late Night With The Devil -
already talked about this film, but it was even better with JBB's priceless insights.
Rare Exports - i had never seen this one either, and holy shit did it deliver. i really, really liked this, to the point where i made a note that i need to own this film. it was batshit crazy, and not really anything expected. hard to even describe - look it up, i'm sure someone has made an attempt. it's really good, will make a point to watch it around every xmas henceforth. if you haven't seen it, you should!
It's A Wonderful Knife - already discussed how fucking terrible this movie is
over here. disappointing that JBB showed it, frankly. i know Shudder has limited xmas themed films to choose from, but there were far better candidates than this horseshit.
Phantom Of The Opera - the OG, which i had somehow never seen in its entirety. i actually really enjoyed it, and JBB was full of incredible info here. a very nice experiencing, watching for the first time with JBB. it really is an impressive film for the time.
Opera - it's fine. not my favorite Argento, but i enjoy it. no complaints about JBB here.
In A Violent Nature - waited for JBB to have this before watching. i don't get the hype - i found it to be fucking tedious (SO. MUCH. WALKING.) with very little to salvage the tedium. and it's getting a sequel? oof. i appreciate the low budget-ness of making this, but could have been half as long and been a great short film.
City Of The Dead - i love this flick, and JBB only makes it better. classic.
Earth Vs The Spider - not sure how i had never seen this, but this was hilarious. fan-fucking-tastic giant monster era film, and JBB overflowed with interesting factoids about it.
Dog Soldiers - just searched, and i first posted about this (first time watch) 18 fucking years ago
here. wow. anyway, such a great film. interesting to watch it again now, with some of the actors having gone on to exponential fame. of course, JBB made it all the better.
