yeah like i said, neil breen level dialog in this for sure. but if you look back at the original films, it's very much like that, only maybe more silly to us because it's in english. shrug. believe me, as a security professional, i'm not going to argue for this film. it's complete nonsense from a technical perspective. but you know, we kind of get journey to the center of the earth mixed in with giant intelligent monsters, and some cool scenes because of that.
also, i'm done with mille bobby brown. she needs to go away and come back in like 15-20 years. no way she'll ever be anything but that girl from stranger things until then.
Re: Godzilla (2014)
42I really hate how the last two Godzailla films feel like bigger budget The Asylum flicks. Too many scenes with people talking seriously in military bases/vehicles/whatever. They are too dark too, even though GvK was a brighter film than King of the Monsters. The best one of these is Skull Island, for sure.
Re: Godzilla (2014)
43since we have this lineage of Godzilla in this thread, i'll drop this here:
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire - wow was this a shitfest. especially after watching Godzilla Minus One (which i'll cover in another thread). it starts out good-dumb but quickly devolves into dumb-dumb. hopefully G-1 puts this line out of its misery. however, that being said, i did enjoy Monarch, so maybe just move this whole thing to the small screen...
