She’s the easy button for “strong female character” in the Batman universe, and sells a lot of Halloween costumes. I said the same thing, then remembered how good the first film was and what Todd did with the titular character, so I’m open to giving him a chance with her. It’s not like she’s been done great by anyone else. I mean, the full-on persona once she transforms, yes - Robbie did just fine, at least in that last Suicide Squad film. But the transformation is the tricky part.
