had always heard good things about this show but never got around to it. saw S2 was released last month (i think?) so we finally started watching it last weekend. we are halfway through S2 now and this show is fucking great. i love this show. if you have been on the fence picking up another show, don't hesitate to start this. really good.

Keep hearing that, but we only made it through the pilot. It seemed a little too reminiscent of other shows.

People at work talking about this now. I guess we should restart it.

holy fuck, first half of s4 was fantastic. don't know when part 2 comes out, but can't see any of this resolving in any good way for anyone involved. literally anyone. also, i hope jonah dies horrifically.

Don't know about Ozark. They turn on the serious faces and the teal cinematography and the growly cellos, yet it's no more plausible than an episode of Dallas.

welp, what an ending. i have seen people bitch, but i don't know how anyone thought it would have ended any other way. there were no indications anywhere that
the byrdes wouldn't win. at the beginning they move to the ozarks. the last episode, they are getting ready to move back to chicago. they came to the ozarks and everyone they touched is fucking dead. they leave nothing but misery in their wake while they ascend to political royalty, their crimes fully authorized by the FBI. the entire langmore family is dead, they fully (or nearly-fully) own the casino as well as several other businesses down there. she owns her father. jonah is once again a murderer, which is funny as i was thinking the episode before how it's weird that they moved away from the idea that he had serial killer mentality. in earlier seasons, they'd show him playing with dead animals, etc., then moved away from it. so of course the show ends with him blowing away a cop. probably immediately thought about portillo's beef. this is a great show. will go down as one of the great dramas for sure. definitely top tier netflix original. i quite enjoyed it.
