so i guess no one watched this or wanted to talk about it. it was one of the few Coen brothers films i hadn't yet seen, so i remedied that over the weekend. i thought it was a fantastic take on this material. extremely well-acted, although it took me awhile to get over how grating mattie was. it eventually became something more, which was welcome. absolutely excellent performances from bridges, damon, piper, and brolin here. really a damn fine film.
