also check out their damnation album. it got critically panned because it takes the more melodic, pink floyd elements of the lengthy tracks and stretches them out, at no point do they get 'heavy' (vocally or musically)

Well don't get yourself too excited, I'm not that big a fan.
also check out their damnation album
oddly, that's probably the album i like best (only heard it,
deliverance and
blackwater). mostly because the songs are shorter than usual. these guys clearly can play, but when the songs start breaking the 7 and 8-minute threshold I get restless. i realize not every band can put out a
Reign in Blood, but sheesh, end the fucking song already.

Kyuss has its moments, although their singer was a wanker. How is Fantomas? Never listened to 'em but they've got King Buzzo from the Melvins so I assume they kick a little ass.
