As there should be...with Black Canary. I don't care which of the three.
caity (sara lance/white canary) got more poon last season than any of the guys on the other two shows' entire runs put together. and also some D.

i can't forget how badly i wanted to murder lana by the middle of smallville's run thanks to DC's hamfisted side love story bullshit. and it only got worse. so, yeah, oliver & felicity are annoying but in the context of how bad smallville was, it's a dream to watch.

Words can't describe how bad this show has gotten this season. Everyone's IQ has dropped by at least half, Felicity's annoyance level has doubled, and they're still dragging things on with the same villain from last year. Don't even get me started on discount Captain America with his trash can lid shield. I used to enjoy most of the DC CW shows, but except for Legends and Supergirl, they've all gotten pretty sad this year. It's almost like the movie people didn't have anything to occupy their time any more so they sent them down to the tv side of things to fuck that up too.

yeah it is REALLY dragging on and it's only two episodes in (for me). i don't know how you fuck up the longbow hunters, but i guess you do. also, i guess we're done with the island flash-backs, but now we get island flash-forwards?? wtf is going on with the timeline here? hand-wringing step-mom felicity is indeed annoying. but i still enjoy her.

Re: Legends Of Tomorrow

well, one episode into S4 and it's baaaad. like, really dumb. i hope they haven't thrown in the towel, as S3 turned out to be a huge amount of fun and is something i recommend to someone wanting a fun show even if they haven't watched the first two. just dive in, it's fine. i know one episode isn't a good litmus test, but if this were the beginning of the show, i wouldn't be watching another one. hope they get their shit together quickly.

I'm two in and I think it's pretty good. But I really liked the Constantine tv show, so I'm glad to see him as a regular now and a focus of the show. And the fact that there's a bigger threat they're teasing with him.

So sorry for your loss TC.
Entertainment Weekly wrote:Arrow star Emily Bett Rickards announces exit ahead of the final season

UPDATE: EW has confirmed that Emily Bett Rickards will not be returning for Arrow‘s eighth and final season.

Here’s a statement from executive producers Greg Berlanti and Beth Schwartz:

“We’ve had the pleasure of working with Emily since season one and in those past seven years she has brought one of TV’s most beloved characters to life. And although we’re heartbroken to see both Emily and Felicity leave the show, we’re completely supportive of Emily and her future endeavors. She will always have a family at Arrow.”

EARLIER: One essential member of Team Arrow apparently won’t be in Arrow‘s final season.

On Saturday, Emily Bett Rickards, who plays tech-genius Felicity Smoak, appeared to announce that she is leaving the CW’s long-running superhero drama after the show’s seventh and current season (a.k.a. before the final season) on Instagram.

“Felicity and I are a very tight two/But after one through seven/we will be saying goodbye to you,” wrote Rickards in the caption of her photo. “I thank you all for the time we’ve shared/The elevators we have climbed/The monsters we have faced and scared/And The burgers we have dined/ I will keep her in my heart for always/And I hope that you can too/ Because she would not be alive if it weren’t for all of you.”

The CW and WBTV didn’t immediately respond EW’s request for confirmation.

Star Stephen Amell, who plays the Green Arrow, tweeted out a season 1 photo of Rickards as Felicity shortly after she made her announcement.

Although Felicity Smoak is technically the name of a character from the comics (typically associated with Firestorm), Arrow put its own unique and defining spin on the character. In season 1, Felicity was introduced as a quirky IT specialist at Queen Consolidated to whom Oliver (Stephen Amell) turned for help because of her astounding computer skills. She eventually joined Team Arrow, and Rickards was bumped up to series regular status for season 2 because of the overwhelmingly positive response to her character. Over the next few years, she and Oliver ended up falling in love and finally tied the knot in season 6. Furthermore, season 7’s future storyline just revealed that they have a child together named Mia (Kat McNamara).

At the moment, it’s unclear what Rickards’ departure means for both Oliver and Felicity’s marriage and Felicity’s fate. A recent future-set episode confirmed that Felicity is indeed alive in the year 2040.

As previously reported, the CW drama will return for a shortened final season in the fall. The decision to end the show was made during season 6 when Amell expressed interest in moving on after season 7.

“Toward the end of season 6, I approached Greg Berlanti, who I will be thanking in a second, and said that I thought both personally and professionally that, at the end of my commitment this coming season, it would be the best for me to move on,” said Amell in a Facebook Live earlier this month, explaining that he made the decision because of his family. However, he also offered hope that season 8 wouldn’t be the last time he suited up. “Something tells me even when I’m done, I won’t be gone. If you’ve watched the Arrowverse, you should understand that,” he said.

Arrow returns Monday, April 15 in its new 9 p.m. timeslot on The CW.

man that's a bummer. i mean, a shortened final season and she couldn't just suck it up for that? weird.

i'm a season behind, waiting for current season to appear on netflix since stupid CW only keeps a few available on demand. same with legends. but my felicity OG will always be above my desk.

It is a little strange to check out early give how little is left. Kind of makes a mess of their story too considering some stuff in this season, which I won't spoil since you haven't seen it yet.

maybe she's angling for more money since it's the last one?

Sounds like they kind of knew she wasn't happy and wanted to leave, so they just moved up her farewell from the start of the next season to the end of this one. The current season kind of puts her in a place where you know her future, so there's almost no reason for her to even be there now, other than to annoy the fuck out of me.

So for anyone who hasn't been watching the adaption of Crisis on Infinite Earths on the CW shows, pretty much ever DC property that's ever existed as a TV show is now a part of the Arrowverse via cameos, regardless of what network it airs or aired on. Also the Superman movie universe (the better one the Salkinds started, not the shitty Zack Snyder one). And by that I mean cameos of the actual characters, not just the actors. Gotta give them credit for knowing how to create publicity buzz.

It hasn't been too bad, though like most adaptions it does stray a good bit from the source. Also I forgot to include that the Burton Batman films are also part of the Arrowverse now.
