Issues with lots of videos on one page
1let's get this to two pages and see if a-head still has issues.
yeah, it's there. hm, what browser are you using, in both places? interesting...Alexhead wrote:This page loads up fine; do you still have that lengthy blog full of youtube videos and whatnot on page 1? That's what was doing it before, and it still locks up if I go there.
First - Well no one who uses it seems to know where said option is.TC wrote:first - yes, FF does have that option.
second - what version of IE are you both using?
first - i don't have it in front of me and will tell you tonight.darkness wrote:First - Well no one who uses it seems to know where said option is.TC wrote:first - yes, FF does have that option.

Second - IE7
what version of IE please?Alexhead wrote:I would assume "The Short Films Collection.." thread in Celluloid Output has video...whatever is in there, it won't open and it crashes my browsers at home and work.
ok, that's a completely different issue. i've accessed this site from many different locations and using many different speeds and have never thought of it as slow by any means. especially since the upgrade. i'd like to get some more info from you. if you will, open a command prompt (Start --> Run --> type "cmd" without quotes, hit enter) and type "tracert g0re.net" without quotes, then copy & paste the output here or in a PM to me if you want...darkness wrote:Actually, I'm starting to think it's a combination of IE and the slow ass crappy server you guys are on. Everything here takes forever to load most of the time, and I think IE must have something built into it that times out on waiting to load the videos and just gives up.
It's slow on my laptop here at home and on my badass mega new computer at work. Here's the tracerout from home, which actually has faster internet than work (bigger tubes here ).TC wrote: ok, that's a completely different issue. i've accessed this site from many different locations and using many different speeds and have never thought of it as slow by any means. especially since the upgrade. i'd like to get some more info from you. if you will, open a command prompt (Start --> Run --> type "cmd" without quotes, hit enter) and type "tracert g0re.net" without quotes, then copy & paste the output here or in a PM to me if you want...
