I listened to so little new music. It's getting worse every year. I liked these:

The new ones from Voivod and Bloodbath struck me as average.

It seems like everyone is just releasing individual songs these days instead of full albums, so there aren't a ton of full albums to list.

I still only/mostly listen to bands that release actual albums but I guess that's a dying breed.

Some real gems there for sure! Brother and Sister is, as you can see, my song of the year and it's a friggin' bonustrack on the album. That's how good Queen of Time is. And it was nice to hear VNV Nation getting back to form somewhat with Noire.

I definitely recommend checking out the new Witch Mountain album too. It was so great seeing them live at a small club here in Denver. Kayla is amazing.
