Thanks to Spotify, I'm finally listening to lesser-loved corners of the LZ canon. And in the case of In Through the Out Door ... yikes. Bonham's death was a great loss, but maybe this band said everything it had needed to anyway by that point.

Fool in the Rain isn't too bad. But yeah, once they stopped ripping off blues classics and Spirit, it kind of went downhill. I think Presence is worse than In Through the Out Door actually. But they pretty much blew their last wad of greatness with Physical Graffiti.

Agree on PG, but I think Presence is still pretty strong. Fool in the Rain is playing on a loop in hell.
