never heard of it but discovered while reading an article on reasons why certain films were hard to make (pacific rim, tim burton's willy wonka, evan almighty): http://www.cracked.com/article_21085_6- ... ke_p2.html
an 86-minute film that is one long shot, shot on location in a museum over 3 days with a cast of almost 2000 in period costumes and makeup. holy. shit. i have to see this. has anyone seen it?
Re: Russian Ark
2Of course! How have you not seen Russian Ark? An amazing piece of cinema, that really should be seen on the biggest possible screen. First time I saw it was back in -02, with our own Chris B
Re: Russian Ark
3Yep, I actually got this from Netflix back around the time Marcus mentions, it's pretty stunning on a technical level although like a lot of Russian cinema it certainly is dry and dull at times.
