They need to change his name to Joe the Media Pundit. Though I guess he's getting his taxes paid off. God forbit McCain wins, at least they'll have someone to unclog the White House toilets. Or is that Palin's job?

Yeah, I liked the use of the Bowie tune in that one. I chuckled at the "Lynch", too.

I may have swayed a vote this afternoon. Woman cutting my hair said she was still undecided. I said, "If you like the way things are going right now, you should support McCain, because he's in agreement with Bush right down the line." She said, "Oh, I definitely don't like the way things are going..."

What more does any undecided voter need?
"President Bush remains hopeful that John McCain will pull it out tomorrow night and win the election." Perino added that Bush thinks McCain and other Republicans "have the right ideas when it comes to the economy and national security."

TV, Beeb News online and Ø are banned in my house tomorrow. I'm going to disappear playing Fallout and wait 'till there's an official announcement on a clear-cut winner. I hate election-day bullshit.

I guess it's an excuse for lots of drinking, no matter who wins. The only thing that changes is your reason for drinking.

If McCain wins, drink to drown out the pain of knowing there's four more years of this bullshit, and if Obama wins, drink because you're about to be really really disappointed.

just curious, why do you say that? i mean, i realize that the president only has so much power and is probably the 30th guy down the list of people that actually make decisions, but still.... curious.

Yeah, didn't you hear Obama's a Socialist? 8)

As long as he's not a Republican, I will be pleased.

republicans take senate, but damn this is good news.

CNN is the most racist station on earth. every single interview is with a black person, every shot on the air is of black people, every word said is how amazing it is that a black man has won, all these black pundits hopping on their soapbox...

disgusting.

i hope he steps up very soon and speaks, telling everyone that this is not about black and white, this is about a competent leader trying to pull a country together that has trainwrecked. the more these people harp on race, the worse they are making it.

people booing during mccain's concession speech (at the mention of obama).

the irony is that this is the only time i've seen him speak that didn't seem wooden and rehearsed so much as before.

edit: ok, if he would have ended it about 10 minutes ago i would have felt that way. this is going on and on and turned into a "woe is me" speech. wtf. he trainwrecks his concessions speech that started off so good.

Texas went for McCain, so my vote didn't do any good. But Obama did take Dallas county where I live, so at least I'm not completely surrounded by idiots.
Looks like Nebraska may actually split it's electoral votes for the first time in history.

My county, Pulaski, also went for Obama, but of course Arkansas as a whole backed the senior citizen. But a good number of us registered our disgust with our do-nothing, moronic Senator, Mark Pryor, a supposed Democrat who has taken any opportunity to suck up to Bush. The Green Party challenger got 20% of the vote.
